Training Hub Project Support Worker

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and organised Project Support Worker.

This support role will work with the Training Hub Project Manager at Greater Peterborough Network to develop three training hubs across the county that will identify, develop and co-ordinate training and work-based placements for healthcare professionals across Greater Peterborough, Huntingdon and Fenland, and Cambridge and Ely.

Training Hubs are a Health Education England funded initiative previously referred to as a Community Education Provider Network.

Nurse Manager

Are you an experienced Nurse with a background in Community-based nursing?  Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge to lead innovative new services with a GP Federation?  Then this could be the job for you.

The Nurse Manager will work collaboratively with the GPN team supporting the development and delivery of GPN clinical services and initiatives.  We are seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse.   Ideally, this individual will have worked in an extended role in a GP Practice and will have had experience in developing new clinical services and can provide leadership and supervision to GPN Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants (HCAs) that work in the GP Hub and our developing ‘at scale’ Home Visiting Service.

The multi-functional role of the Nurse Manager includes:

  • Managing the GPN Home Visiting Service.
  • Lead Nurse for the GP Hub, supporting the Practice Nurses and HCAs working in the GP Hub.

Working with GPN Clinical Leads to advocate and develop new ways of delivering Primary Care to Greater Peterborough patients.
